Domain Hosting Fee - WTF?

“If you’re paying AUD$330 per quarter (for web hosting)… then ditch their sorry ass”

Its been a sheltered life for me I’m afraid and when I was doing a hosting comparison report for a client this week I realised a biggie on their current bill - its called a Domain Hosting Fee and at Netspace it was $220 per year. Now that’s not domain registration for a at $140 for two years - its an extra service applying to every single domain name existing on the account. Telstra Bigpond also have the same fee but at about $120 per year.

Nikon F80D And Canon Powershot A640

The future of our photography is in the hands of Linden. I’m a photography point and click kind of guy and beyond achieving some interesting reflectography (yes probably not a real word) in the central business district shop windows I’m very ordinary. Or reasonably ordinary. Linden, on the other hand has some remarkable work.

We’d actually had a Nikon D70 Digital SLR camera on lay-by but pulled that when we heard the Nikon D80 Digital SLR was coming to market in the next few months. In the end it came down to Linden loving to work with real film in the darkroom. So our new purchases today are - and don’t wait for the drumroll…
